\ What is internet? Where is? Who does it belong to? In Las Toninas, Argentina, there are eight submarine cables that connect the internet to all the country. It was chosen as a port because it is a flat place but above all because of its geographical location: it is one of the northernmost and easternmost points on the Atlantic map of Buenos Aires.
Until 2020, five cables departed from that spa. It is expected that by 2023 the United States will connect with Las Toninas through the longest submarine cable in the world.

__\ \ ¿Qué es internet? ¿A quién sirve? ¿A quién le funciona o pertenece? En Las Toninas hay ocho cables submarinos que conectan internet a toda Argentina. Este sitio fue elegido como puerto porque es un lugar marítimo de planicie, pero sobre todo por su ubicación geográfica: es uno de los puntos más al norte y más al este del mapa bonaerense sobre el Atlántico.
Desde ese balneario partían hasta 2020 cinco cables. Se espera que para 2023 Estados Unidos se va a conectar con Las Toninas mediante el cable submarino más largo del mundo.
